To make a monkey mask, you will need:
- A cereal box
- Newspaper
- Paper plates
- Pipe cleaners
- String
- PVA Glue
- Crafft Paint
Step 1: Ask an adult to cut out a circle the size of your face from the back of the cereal box. Glue the newspaper on to the cereal box, so that yo can paint it. Paint the cereal box.
Step 2: Cut a wedge out of the bottom of the plate. Cut five small slits either side of the wedge and thread the pipecleaners through - these are the whiskers! Glue the plate, with the wedge at the bottom, to the front of the cereal box.
Step 3: Measure the string so that it fits around your head. Cut two small holes either side of the hole at the back of the box, and attach the string.
Step 4: Glue the buttons to the front of the box - these are the eyes!
Step 5: Give the monkey some unique markings and spots by decorating it with the felt pen and glitter.
